UEFA Champions League - Round of 16

Paris St G 1-1 Chelsea
Shakt Donsk 0-0 Bayern Mun

Probably "that will do" results for Bayern and Chelsea, a win would have been better, but hey!

My guess for Dortmund's opponent in the next round is ManCity or Donezk.

Juve next Tuveday! :p

Wednesday 25th February 2015

Arsenal 1-3 Monaco
Bayer Levkn 1-0 Atl Madrid

Two home loses by EPL clubs in R16, this is piss poor. (Even that lazy fuck Berbe got a goal.)

Dortmund got a good-ish result and should be in with a chance of winning.

Real Madrid was on thin ice as well from what I've heard

.. and perhaps predictably, Man C are also out.

No EPL teams in the QFs, the league may loose some UEFA ranking points for that.

Quarter-Finals - First Leg

Atl Madrid 0-0 Real Madrid

A very good first half for Real, with the Athletico GK Oblak making some fine saves. Much scrappier in the second half, with Mandzukic getting involved in several incidents.

Probably a good result for both teams.

Juventus 1-0 Monaco

Could have been a pen or not, as it looked close to the line. Definitely was a foul, only worth a yellow for Carvalho.

Wednesday 15th April 2015

FC Porto 3-1 Bayern Mun
Paris St G 1-3 Barcelona

That's a good result for Porto, but Munich did have an away goal, so all is not lost yet.

(agg 5-1)

Bayern Mun 6-1 FC Porto

Both Barca and Bayern were excellent tonight, to get to the SF.

Porto did score a late-ish goal, but was not enough as Bayern scored again.
A nice goal by Xabi Alonso.

PSG didn't really get going AND they had David Luiz in defence.

Quarter-Finals 2nd Leg

Monaco 0-0 Juventus

Real Madrid 1-0 Atl Madrid
(agg 1-0)

UEFA Champions League - Semi-Finals 1st Leg

Juventus 2-1 Real Madrid

Hmm, could still go either way, with Real looking the most likely.
Good effort by Juve.

EDIT:

Wednesday 6th May 2015

Barcelona 3-0 Bayern Mun

That looks like a difficult 2nd tie to come for Bayern, doable but not easy.
