any of you guys heard of this? Kimble started it up after his experience in the Gumball rally... the only different with this is.. its a race! and they already have an enzo, carrera gt, and an SLR entered!!!!!! (the carrera gt is run by Ghost rider!) check out their forums.. its crazy.. makes me wish i can participate :cry:

winner gets $1 million! plus $50,000 everytime they get first at a checkpoint!
 
can anyone post a link to the website... I remember reading it before... I hope they choose the route that goes through malaysia :D ... by then maybe I'll be in a faster car and can keep up with them :D
 
I like the China to Russia one....pretty cool route
 
the stretch from malaysia would be practically police free... plus highway patrols use Volvo 850 T5 wagons to chase speeders... lol

They have a shitload of money, they can hire the Ring for weeks straight and instead of that they want to race on open roads? That's fucking stupid!

Route 1 passes by Cairo! Yay!!! Will definitely go down there and get some pictures for you guys if they chose it
 
now now.. don't be haters.. thats like an adventure to those rich guys.. ya know tracks are to boring for them :p but they'll cause lots of problems i must agree.. accidents and other shit.

hmmm I do imagine myself joining one of those if I had the money.... It doesn't have to involve accidents and innocent lives..... I think if they choose the right routes it could be safe, I mean as long as they don't go 100mph inside a city they should be fine, most of these are international motorways and 200Kmh is common place.

155 mph should be sufficient for the winner to make a reasonable time I guess as long as they sustain it, I think the winner will be the most endurant and not the fastest irresponsible jerk at a specific stage
 
man have you seen them in gumbal? they drive like shit and dangerously... it ain't fun like that.. but the thought of going through countries as a rally is shit hot!
 
I'd rather buy an oldtimer (rally) and go through countries, still a game, but not as ridiculous as 150mph slalomming through other cars..
 
It definetly has some outlaw charm to it... Participating would be great fun... But as most of you mentioned: Too dangerous... All the time people are dying at those events...

It would be ok to go fast trough all those countries, but really race them hard... On Kimbles site are a lot of crash pictures...

there has been a bugatti veyron entered lol.. the guy doesnt even have his car yet.. jeez

i dunno if i would join.. sicne this is a race.. its not as fun cuz you got all that pressure of having to come in first.. and plus.. almost all the cars entered are super cars... i wouldnt enter my supercar in that... get it ruined... i'd stick to the gumball

and these guys are planning on doing 200+mph.. not 150
