I like the Sharan as well. Don't see the point of the CrossFox and that mini SUV thing.

They're seriously not considering calling it the "Marrakesh" or the "Beduin", are they? People have enough trouble with "Touraeg" already!

"Hi, my name is (___) and I drive a Volkswagen Marrakesh." :lmao:
 
Marrakesh is actually quite easy to remember and car freaks have definitely heared it from either Dakar or last year's gumball.

And iirc ther was alos a song a few years ago by some popular pop(?)brand called marrakesh.
 
scirocco looks interesting, hopefully it wont be a pig. and why does the phaeton looks so weird??? the back half looks very very Contintental GT-ish but the front is too long, looks like a station wagon.

long story short: crossover between a limo with some SUV elements.
 
So it's a big station wagon with lots of cow and tree?

I guess they don't want to be treading on Audi's toes as much anymore. Almost makes sense, in some twisted way... :?

Also, the average American whom the Marrakesh/Beduin will probably be targeted at won't know where Mexico City is (hint: it's in Mexico ;) ), much less whether Marrakesh/Beduin is a type of Swedish dessert or not.
 
^ Good point, as seen in one of the threads in the OT section, geography apparently seems to be causing some difficulties... :lol:

they should've went after the Quattroporte and made a good handling sports sedan. not some suv/crossover/sedan shit.
 
i do hope they make it rear wheel drive this time
 
that ragster had NICE rims...if only the car part looked good also :( :lol:

not really. the Sharan is like a mini minivan. While the R-class is a minivan-hatchback type thing that MB doesnt like being called a minivan :p
and another major difference is that there is no AMG version of the Sharan.
