US rally car question

Has anyone attended a US Rally car race?

I've started to get more into watching old WRC events/highlights and would like to see an event live and take some pictures of cars jumping, sliding around corners, etc.

There are no events near me, and I'm not even sure if they are shown on TV. So before planning a trip to see an event I thought I'd post here and see if anyone on here has been.

I used to go to The Maine Forest Rally every year when i worked up in ME at a boy scout camp. It's all about knowing the stages so you can get a good spot for a high action corner/jump/straight/hill/etc. Honestly i think the Special Stage Forums might be a better place to look for information about rallying in your area. There may not be an national event near you but perhaps there is a regional even you can check out.
