Profile:

Known as: VBH

Fastest she's ever driven: 178mph in an Aston Martin Vanquish S

Biggest crash: 24hr kart race at Le Mans when a piece of metal punctured her leg

Currently drives: Honda S2000, Mk2 VW Golf Gti, Ducati Monster (damn girl!)

Dream car: Lamborghini Diablo GT

Vicki completed her first motor sport race at the age of 12 in a 100cc kart and was a racing instructor at Brands Hatch and Silverstone by the age of 17. She currently holds a Race National A licence as well as a Power Boatsracing licence, and recently became the first woman to win a Maserati Trofeo race. She is a serious driver who has humbled many a big-mouthed boy racer round a track.

But that's not he only reason Vicki's cred is sky high. She trained as a journalist and after starting out on Car Mechanics magazine, she co-launched Max Power magazine and worked as a road tester for Auto Express, the Daily Telegraph, The Times and becoming News Editor for What Car?

During the late 90s she worked for BBC Top Gear, establishing herself as the foremost female road tester in the country, and joined Tiff as a founder of Fifth Gear in 2002. She was the first TV journalist to be invited to drive the Pagani Zonda Roadster, and is the only gal we know to have maxed a Chrysler Viper, Ferrari Challenge Stradale, Lamborghini Murcielago and Aston Martin Vanquish.

Her favourite filming moment is from this series of Fifth Gear, when a Hollywood stunt crew taught her how to be run over and how to jump from one car to another. "They'd all worked on the last few James Bond movies, so it was a real privilege to be taken under their wing. And when we weren't filming, I was able to ask them about the best way to do wheelies..."

Tom Ford's profile says... said:
Tom Ford may be 29 now, but his car obsession started early. At the age of 12, he tried to steal his Dad's 6-series BMW but he crashed it through the garage having selected the wrong gear.

Thankfully he has improved since.

Ya, saw that too. Tiff fucking rocks. 8)

didn't he set the UK record with the McLaren F1? and wasn't that more than 230mph?

I agree about the bad garage, WTF would she buy a Golf GTI they are Toilet. But the Ducati takes things up the scale a bit, Im not sure about teh Diablo at least it not a Countach i guess.

My wife has had 2 MK 2 Golf Gti's and the latest one as a company car and i would have to say what a HATEFUL car the MK2 truly is (and trust me i know what i'm on about its my job) and the new Golf is SO much better its something VW should be proud of and those have been few and far between for a while now.

I think i will stop moaning about Golfs now and go back to work.

I wonder what Mr Bentley drives besides petrol powered diesel Astras?
