Yeah I watched the ep about 10times now and she is really Trying to beat JC with words too...making some extra comments like
"That's not really a corner" then she laughs and sniffs her nose like she just had some cocaine..:S
"Don't brake so much"
"A girl just overtook you"
"At the moment it's quite easy"
"Here's 2 meters, here's a cow"
"It will take years"
"Your drivingstyle is really funny"
"Nonono Don't braaake"

And Jeremy kept saying "It's not me, it's the diesel"

Tiff in BMW Z4 (231 BHP): 53,3 sec
Vicki in Nissan 350Z (280 BHP): 59,6 sec
Around the fifth gear Test Track

So, I guess, Vicki is going fast, but is she a real racing driver? I don't know... Does anyone have a link where we can see her race stats or something like that?

Would still go for Sabine...

I don't remember the exact number of female F1 drivers, but I recall something like five in the history, the most recent being Giovanna Amati in early nineties.

Not sure about F1, but I would suspect the most succesful female driver of all time is Michelle Mouton, who raced WRC in the eightees.
If not her then perhaps the woman who won Paris-Dakar one year (I think, can't remember the name).

You're referring to Jutta Kleinschmidt. Incidentally her current co-driver. Fabrizia Pons, was once a co-driver of Michele Mouton in WRC. The couple damn nearly won World Championship in early eighties but Michele's father was dying and she had to skip a few events in the end of season. Later Michele has made motorsport history by creating the "Race of Champions".

I think women are more prone to succeed in endurance racing than sprint events.

And I didn't know that any women were in F1 or WRC... Thanks for that info...

Anyone knows like a racing stats site that helps me out on on my shortcomings??

There are several in F1. Best bets would be http://www.grandprix.com or http://www.f1db.com. Also http://8w.forix.com is worth checking, they have biographies of several female F1 drivers.

Rallying department is not very strongly represented around the web. You could try http://www.rallybase.nl for statistics.

Ah! A fellow Yorkshire man, welcome to the forums my friend! :)

Cheers matey!

My trusty Trans Am won't keep up with your Ferrari but at least the V8 makes a nicer noise.

sabine even if she's not that good lookin and arrogant.. but vicki looks even worse

bah, I'd love to learn german :D

and I'd be better than her in english so that would be fun

man have you seen vicki's lips, they are so thin, plus in the latest 5th gear ep, you could see wrinkles above her lips.. she's getting older.. she should use some moisturizing lotions :p
