I have this major problem with some .avi files.
After say 2-3 seconds of play, they hang... but sound goes on. This applied for "The Best Of" Top Gear episode but this episode was different in a way that it hangs about 6 seconds which is significantly different from the other .avi files I had which have problems. I tried using different players but they hang at the same time. So I used a different solution. There's a program called Virtual Dub and it played it like normal. The thing is, that Virtual Dub isn't an mpeg player, it's sort of an video manipulation thingy. I'm not so good at describing it but that fits it. Any ideas? I've tried AVIdefreeze but to no avail.
