I think it looks ugly, especially the rear, it's not "Volvo".

Yay! They styled the rear end to lose space for no apparent reason! And isn't that what a Volvo is all about? The inefficient use of space? Oh wait, it's not. :thumbsdown:
 
I quite like the styling but I'd do without the glass roof. Excellent visibility with these glass surfaces.

edit: provided the car looks like the first picture, the second I don't like...

Seriously though, I do like it a lot. I wondered when that P1800-like rear window would make it back, well it looks like it's done now. This thing will bury any existing car when it comes to overall visibility, front, rear and sides. And visibility is one of the most important factors in security.

Waiting to see it IRL however, I have doubts when I see the B "pillars" that it will actually look like this.
 
hmm... Both cars pictured are concepts and the latest pictures I have seen in the magazines are nothing much like those. It will pretty much look like a shortened S40.

Edit: Dough! Just checked and the pictures I saw where not of this car but the smaller possibly upcoming one based on the Fiesta platform...
 
looks fugly. They just ruined the volvo.
 
well why not, it's ugly but it's still a concept, and they need new models to attract younger buyers,

I actually really like this design. It's a bit odd looking, but I still really like it.

The P1800 is one of my favourite Volvo's, so I really like the C30.

Well, you don't know how it looks from the front, since there are no pictures of it... the pics in the first message are just pics of two of volvos concept cars... even though it propably will look something like them it will probably not look exactly like them...
usually production cars look a little bit more "civilised" than the concepts... ;)

I know, I like the normal P1800 that was in "The Saint", but I meant that Volvo used to be classy cars, like the S60 anc V70.
This one looks a bit odd...looks like it wants to be a small racer, don't know..
 
I don't like it, but can't really hate it either. I feel the same towards these as the late model BMW. Volvo started going to the right direction when they designed S40 and continued it with S60 and so on. With this they take several steps to wrong direction.
