I just wonder what people thought of the C30.

I like the look of it, I like the glass boot lid and the flared wheel arches. All good stuff!

Shame its no hot-hatch, even with the 2.5T engine!

There's no other car in it's class I'd rather have.

But I'm biased, obviously.

....so there is....

Repost! :p

It is faster than the Golf GTI.. So it is sort of a hot hatch... 8)

Here's what I think: interior seems like it was made to seem expensive, but it feels like it'd not wear well. The back seats are set WAAAY back in the car (you fall into them when climbing in) and the hatch is very small. Also, because of that cool hatch, you don't get a flat loading height...you have to place things down into it, like loading a box, rather than placing stuff into it, like putting something on a table.

The dealer told me that he'd schedule a test-drive once they had some available besides their first one to just show.

Good car, it's not really a repost the other is a Top Gear article. I still like the older ones more though.

I like it but the front looks boring....When you look at it in person I just didn't get that excited as I did when I saw it in person...Thing is though it is the closest thing to the Azbo :(

I like the looks ... what i don?t like is the "see-through" Boot-lit. Even in a normal Car behind it, you can see everything the People in it do. It?s not that I?d mind a lot when people can see me driving, but when you drive behind it, you feel a bit like sitting in the backseats ... and I don?t want to sit in the Backseats, see every gearchange and how the driver is a incompetend Fool with the Stereo or how much Stuff they let lie around ...

I wasn't a huge fan of it to begin with, but then I saw a white one up close and I really like it.

those all sound like reasons that would mean its really rather spacious, don't get me wrong, i'm not a C30 fan or anything.

The looks are neat, but from what ive heard its drives is more mass market then well thought-out or entertaining. Thats the U.S. version though, no idea how it compares to the Euro

I especially like the interior the centre console, how it curves down to the gears is lovely. it looks very clean and sophisticated some what

looks like a cliff face, organic :p

Back is the best bit

I think the back looks weird and cheap. Looks like an old Honda.

The rest is super. Just the back is aweful

I just saw one today when I drove by a dealer. I think it looks brilliant, and it's come a long way since the SCC vehicle from a few years ago. I would have one in a heartbeat, but I do think they should do an "R" version with a higher pressure turbo and AWD.

(Shamelessly copied from the other C30 thread)

I think it looks terrific, it's not TOO cute but it's not shouting ASBO like the Focus ST (not that there's anything wrong with that, though). My guess is that it'll become a future classic, and Volvosti will be going nuts for one 30 years from now.

Same here, then it'll be even more of a classic.

And it looks like a CRX in the sense that because I have 4 limbs and hair, I am Morgan Freeman.
