My sister, Anca, is running for Miss Universe Canada for next year. She'll be attending the Southern Ontario finals very soon. And if she's one of the lucky 7, she'll go on to the national pageant.

So naturally, I have to plug her photo on this forum. Little brother has to bring the fan base. :rolleyes: Maybe you guys will vote for her on "People's Favourites" as soon as Beauties Of Canada updates their website (lazy bastards! they're too busy looking at good looking girls to bother updating their website.)

To be honest with you I don't really like these pageants where women are paraded about like pieces of meat and evaluated and ranked by judges. I think it's degrading and I think it's a practice that has no place in a healthy, modern society.

My sister's very well educated. Miss South Carolina's IQ is 20, please do not compare.
She speaks 4 languages fluently (English, French, Spanish, Romanian), and had participated in the Romanian National Education Olympics in Latin. As in "Latin", the language the Romans used to speak, not Latin America.
And she's almost done with her undergraduate university studies: Double major in Psychology and International Development. And if her marks at the end will be as good as they are now, she'll graduate Magna Cum Laudae.

EDIT: She wants to go to graduate school right after. I say she should enjoy life after graduation for at least a year and then go back and get the grad. But she always was less lazier than me.

Why is that cruise ship heading straight towards that bigass waterfall? I can only guess the poor captain sighted your sister up on the rocks above and forgot where he was...temporarily 8).

epp_b, I dont think this thread is creepy, as long as it isnt Toma_alimosh doing the ogling. The rest of us are fine. :p

Good looking, definitely a natural beauty. But I too am a little creeped out by this thread. I think just a link to the voting site would have sufficed.

I somewhat agree. Though it's a case similar to porn, it may be degrading, but their willing to do it. I just don't like that they help further the mentality that being beautiful is a perfect excuse for being completely retarded.

Miss South Carolina is a perfect example of exactly what kind of message not to send.
 
She's adorable, so she probably won't win. Girls who win those kinda contests usually look a bit WTF and turn out to be somebody important's daughter. :p

Anyhow, I'm a bit puzzled as to why you posted all those pretty pictures of your sister BEFORE the voting even started. I'd say you wanted to see people drool all over her and act creepy, but that'd be very highly unusual. So I won't.

Still, WTF.
 
She looks like that annoying chick from That '70s Show.. Not that it's a bad thing, maby she could take advantage of it in the talent portion :D
