VW showed a study in Berlin today. It's called the Concept A and a mixture between an SUV and a Coupe. Its equipped with the 1.4l TSI from the Golf GT, here with 150hp.

I don't like the type of car, but it's got the looks.

The front is fine, the back is fine. It's the bit in the middle I don't like.

RX8 doors just don't work on that thing.

I'm already looking forward for the day when there are so many so called crossover models around that the next crossover development or trend will be an ordinary saloon or hatchback again. Many crossover models already look just like a lump of car, this one being no exception.

First:
Suicide doors are cool. On every coupe. One point given.

But:
?berdesigned to the death like so many other cars. The front is too big. The front wheels are too far behind. The "drop form"-back for cars is so outdated it hurts. The same goes for "angry" front design. (Spoken: "Cars for tailgaters")

And:
Hard to park in reverse and useless in rougher terrain because the big front will dip in the dirt as soon as you leave the normal road.

"Urban offroader and motorway offroader" at his best.

Front looks cool.
Interior looks cool.
Rear... not so sure about that one

didnt VW have a much cooler concept that was similar in theory to this?
