Weird tuning style...

This is some rather strange approach to tuning a car, but despite this for some reason i like it :thumbsup:

i wonder at what speed they max out with those 12-13' wheels(? :unsure: ) :lol:

that extreme negative camber angle is impressive :twisted: :evil:

Yeah they looks terrible, we have a few Golf MK3s here in town with those things and you just can't keep up with them.

Usually you see crappy wheels at the back on drifting, burnout, and other racing competitions. when people dont want to damage their nice rims they put some stock, ugly, cheap ones at the back(if rwd). but i have no clue why the rims are different on the pic above ^ :unsure:
 
well miss matched rims comes right out of drifting..... most drifters have 2 rims that have old worn tires on them for drifting.... you put normal tires on the car with your normal rims... then when night comes and you are going out for canyon runs you put on the other rims in the rear.... it's all about conserving tires.... and in an interesting reversal what happens on the street made it to the track

unfotunatelly, no i didnt take them, not too many such cars around here in the netherlands :) but you're right, kinda in the wrong section :oops: :coplight:
 
hahahah that looks so stupid. i guess smaller wheels turn better?

negative camber causes a bigger patch of the tire to be on the road when turning yeha;/
 
well at this point it's gotten to the extreme... originally the streached tires and negative camber were not a "style" they were performance minded but then ppl started getting stupid... and putting more an more camber on with smally and smaller streached tires just to do it not for any performance purpose just to look cool...

also i am pretty sure the bozo style orginated in japan not europe

Under hard cornering, a tire sidewall will deflect somewhat. By increasing negative camber, more of the contact patch will be in contact with the pavement under hard cornering loads.
All of these photos have negative camber amounts that are purely for appearance, anything over a few degrees, and you start to lose traction, depending on the car/tires/etc.
Although some of the RWD cars may have so much negative camber so it's easier to break the rear loose, for the MAD DORIFTO YO.
 
small wheels means quickers and easier acceleration on lower HP cars since they need less torque to pull the cars. however once past the initial second of accel, you'd probably wish they were bigger.

obviously these guys arent scientists.
 
Wow, now that looks rediculous. We have a few ricers around here, but thankfully they aren't extreme. I wonder how practical those "modifications" are? :lol:
