Went autocrossing yesterday, and a Tesla showed up

It was kind of eerie to watch it out there on the track. They let it run without any other cars on the track, and there was nothing but silence.
 
What class did it run?
 
It wasn't in a class. The guy showed up about halfway through the day, curious about what was going on. The normal rules of registration deadlines were pushed aside for this case and he got to run between groups two and three. He stayed for a while after that, so maybe he'll actually run with the rest of us next time and be in a class.

I just wish they would have teched his car to see if the battery was securely fastened :)
 
I saw one of those the other day in my town as well. Funny watching it accelerating away as quick as the Elise I saw a while back, only completely silent. :lol:
 
Cool car. I would think its also in Super Stock like the Elise but am not sure. It would be interesting to see it in action.
 
I was going to post how this probably sucks in autocross, but then I realized any Tesla owner with an IQ over 40 would change their tires.

I want to see a set of fat Hoosiers on one pls.
