What a stooooopid idiot

I'll never understand the appeal of a "Kit car"... You still don't have the car you are trying to imply you have.

Maybe if your the type of person that likes projects, I could understand it as somthing to do. But still, it's a stupid "somthing" to do.

Kit car as in rebodied conversion, or kit car as in Caterham/Factory Five? I've always wanted to build a Caterham but putting crap on an old Fiero is pathetic. Funny how "kit car" encompasses all that.

i know the guy who owns that, his name is steve and he runs the kit company Triangle G, which makes fiero rebodys. the boxster conversion looks...looks like a narrow CGT which isnt bad (more variety in body style, too many boxsters here), but the rear engined 911 is a horrible choice for this, even if it was totalled in an accident.
if he's gonna rebody the 911, at least put some 911 panels on it :bangin:

Is this his site?

Cause some of these are actually not too bad.

Aren't parent companies gonna sue them for using their designs?

nah, not using their name. the murci kit is something like 80% scaled down from the original, and yet they fit the real taillights in there. lol. still, most of the work on those car is nice, i've seen em in person many times.

there's no way to describe kit cars, nomatter how hard you try. it's not the rebody and the assembled car, it's everything from scratch built to factory built.

in terms of lambo kits on fieros:

from the slap-it-on-in-a-day wannabe (it literally only takes a day)

to the completely rebuilt one with a funny engine cover and a CRAZY PRICE TAG

some people slap on a new body, most redo suspension and swap the engine as well, and some cut everything back from the firewall and front of the steering wheel and make a custom cradle, which is great and handles nothing like a fiero.

as far as not having what it looks like, well yea you do, it's a kit car with a fiberglass body they looks 100x better than a beat up fiero, unless the body is crap, which is a whole different issue. it's not like it really fools anyone who knows anything about cars, and if it does, hey its fun for 5 mins till you pop the hood.

Yeah I know, haha. I mean the Fiero chop jobs. The Caterham... now that's just cool.
