What car sounds best?

Kinda new to this forum, so i'm not sure this tread has been made before.
But what cars do you think sound best?
My top 3 is:

#1 : Porsche Carrera GT
#2 : BMW M3 CSL
#3 : Ferrari F355

As you can probally figure out from the cars i'm a big fan of the sound from high revin' engines. Have heard #1 and #3 IRL. Sadly i have only heard the normal version of the M3 IRL, but the CSL version can only be better :)

especially the CSL is :drool:

3. Lambo Diablo
i've heard all of these on the highway before at fairly high speeds.
 
1. Ferrari 360 CS
2. Porsche GT1
3. TVR Tuscan


I?ve heard the 360 and the GT1 on a track, and they are just so amazing and loud. I saw the McLaren F1 on the same track, and u could barely hear it.
The BMW M3 csl should be up there as well =)
 
The only "supercar" I?ve heard in person was a Ferrari 360 Modena. What a glorious sound.
Judging by the videos, I would certainly include Aston Martins, especially the Vanquish/DB9.
 
The ones I've heard in person:

1. Carrera GT
2. Ferrari 355
3. Murcielago, F430 and 360 CS

Ones I've heard in vids:

1. Zonda C12-S
2. SLR McLaren
3. McLaren F1
 
I think the Zonda F, TVR Speed Twelve or the Carrera GT would sound superb in real life... Otherwise, the best sounding cars I have ever heard is:

1) Audi Sportquattro S1
2) BMW M5 E-34 (VS Motor)
3) Dodge Viper
4) Ruf ctr "Yellowbird"
 
SLR McLaren. I drove one of those at a MB dealership in New Jersey (my cousin has a really good friend who works at the dealership). Sounds like you're spanking someone with a huge buttocks a million times under a second.
 
1) Pagani Zonda F
2) Ferrari F430
3) Porsche Carrera GT / Mercedes SLR (Can't decide, they both sound glorious)

And no, I haven't heard many supercars in my days...
 
Ohh, forgot about the speed twelve. Dunno if it would replace the ones i have. I've heard the 360 and 360 CS race on the track at the same time as the 355. The 360's sound alot louder but nowhere near as pure and F1 like as the 355. When the 355 is around the rev limit it just makes you weak in the knees.
 
If we're not counting road cars then its the 2004 Renault F1. Experienced it at the Montreal (awesome city) Grand Prix last year. Astounding in person. Gave me goose bumps. Road cars:

CGT
360CS
Vanquish (@ full chat) will substitute the AMV8 when I hear it in person.

I want to put the Ford GT on there because I just love the whine of the supercharger :D... but the zonda still edges it :D
