What cars do you want to see in Season 7???

So what cars do you want to see reviewed in season 7??

I have a couple. The new Audi RS4, BMW M6, Aston Martin V8 Vantage and finally, the new BMW 130i (because i want one and desperately seek JC's approval before I buy it... :lol: )

So yes, at this stage, the only one I can think of is the C4.

I don't understand, you just contradicted yourself?... for me if JC dislikes a car ALOT and has alot to say about it, I will keep it in mind but if there are cars like the Merc. SL55 that is good enough for him to buy one, it would be good for anyone out there

Because I like the size and interior, but the 2.0L was slow and a bit on the dull side... Chassis was great, so I think a 195kW 6 cylinder would perk things up somewhat. But I don't want to pay for a 6 cylinder 3 series. Failing that, I've also got my eye on the FPV F6 Typhoon, which is a blast to drive, and easy to tune. I like it better than my old VY SS.

Well I know which one I would choose. One is a decent (for a Ford) car that will actually go quite hard. The other is a pretty crappy, small, awkward, and uncomfortable to drive, even more uncomfortable to sit in the back of car that costs a fortune because they slap an import tariff on it and probably a luxury car tax as well.

Richard said that Jeremy clearly does not want any kind of motorcycle in Top Gear. Both Richard and James regularly bring it up to him though. In the end, it is Jeremy Clarkson's Top Gear now.

I'd love to see the Corvette Z06, Koenigsegg CCR, Zonda F, M-badged 1er, and more classic cars like they used to feature!

You seriously can't stand there on your high horse and crow about LCT with your AMG and 2 holdens that come under LCT... FWIW, the F6 also gets hit with LCT...
I don't expect someone with a mercedes fetish to understand, but the 1 is lightyears better than anything equivalent from mercedes. a MUCH better drivers car than an A class. And the interior quality is in a different league. It is small, but that's fine for what me and my girlfriend want. we're not planning on kids anytime soon, and we've currently got a Golf GTI, so size doesn't matter (although i have heard some people try to make up for certain inadequacies thru their big expensive mercedes and bently cars... :lol: ). And the back seat is therefore no big deal. i find the 120i comfortable, and not at all awkward.

Sorry Kirium, I didn't mean to go off at you about it. I am by no means a Mercedes fetishist, in fact I met with a man a couple of weeks ago to look at a 7 series.

I just think that the 1 series is a bit of a gimmick made to fill a space in the market. It's for people who don't want or can't afford a larger car, but still want to have the nice badge on the front so they can say "I drive a BMW". The car works quite well in Europe because it is quite reasonable priced, like Merc's, Audi's, Golf's etc, it is just when the extra charges are put on for bringing them to Australia they become poor value for money compared to other cars on the market.

My comment about LCT is based on the fact that the car doesn't really contain anything to make it "luxury", but just because it slips over the threshold when you add in the import tariff they get off with charging you more for it. This generally happens with a lot of cars like this, and is what my thread of LCT is complaining about.

I also won't fight the fact that the price and quality of Merc small cars is shocking (although I've heard good things about the new A class), but I also wasn't overly impressed with the 1 series interior either and if I had the choice I would probably go with a new Golf GTi.

I suppose it all comes down to personal preference and what you are looking for in the car. As long as you are happy that is what is important.
