What codecs do I need to watch these videos?

I've downloaded a few Top Gear and Fifth Gear videos that only played audio on my computer. I have the latest Divx., XVID and other codecs. Wondering what codecs you guys have installed on your computers? Maybe I should just uninstall all of my codecs and start from scratch. THanks for any info you can give me.
 
use VLC player
 
Hmmmm......I don't have WMP 9, I've been using version 8. Maybe that is it, except some of these videos are from 2004, they should work.
 
Just install the latest WMP, maybe it'll help.
And the VLC player should definitely work!

All you should need for the later ones is DivX 5...
