In my country is Bora...
I'd like to buy 1, and I wanna hear your opinion - for and against this car.

A slightly better looking golf basicly :)
My dad had one with 1.6l, and it's not enough for the car to be honest. 2.0l feels much much better.

I drove the Bora one time, quite a while ago but it wasn't a bad ride at all. I drove the 2L petrol.

From all that I remember it drove similar to a Golf. I liked the interior.

But if you're really concidering you should get a few testdrives in it, cardealers won't mind you taking testdrives here, don't know how it's over there.

Depends on how many kilometers it has, the state of the exterior (if the previous owner was careful with the car).

Btw. Why changing from a Coupe to a Bora? I thought the Coupe was quite good for daily use..

I drive a MK4 Jetta. It is very slow since I just have the 2.0 (115bhp). Sure it is a pig, but I don't care. I love the interior though.

A week ago I drove the MK5 Jetta. It had the base Straight 5 (150bhp). Decent power and pretty smooth. It handled ok and it is more refined. I was able to do close to 90mph with little engine or wind noise. I can't wait till they release the GLI version.

The Jetta is tuned towards comfort, so its suspension is soft and it rolls quite a bit in corners. Backseat is quite small too, even when compared to other small cars like the Civic and the Corolla.

The best thing about the Jetta is its interior. Small but tastefully decorated..

Thanks, guys!

2Jostyrostelli I'm not changing from a Coupe to a Bora?
I thought the Coupe was quite good for daily use - yap, Coupe is not bad for this, but I need something with 4 doors, sedan.

I like Bora, like 2,3L... simply I love this car. For that value I don't know what to buy... I mean used car 13-15000$

I like the 406, I love it's design. Never driven it, havan't got alot of experience with Peugeot. It really depends how much money you're willing to spend.

the 406 is not a bad car... very comfortable... much better than the Bimmer E36... not sure about the Jetta though... never sat in one

I'd gp for the Peugeot out of them two personally.

If you find a good Bora, I'd go for it. A friend of mine has one, 1.9 TDI 115hp, and it's one of my favourite cars. I have an A6 2.5 TDI and prefer driving the Bora. The interior ambiance is great and I really like the design.

^Not if you drive like 10kms per day with it. Get a petrol instead.

**If you have the same prices as in Europe: diesel, petrol, insurrance, taxes etc.**
