Car vs. whatever that was race - The rally car parts were fun to watch, as rally cars tearing up dirt roads are always fun. Other than that, I'm just not that interested in "Car vs. Not a car" races anymore because they always seem so staged. I much prefer the "Jeremy in a car vs. May and Hammond in something else" races.
News - Good stuff, even if there weren't any really interesting pieces of automotive news.
Maserati vs. AMG yellow turd - As soon as I saw the Mercedes I stopped paying attention. An overpowered, over-suspended, over-the-top car with casters for rear wheels that makes a lot of smoke? Meh. Not their fault, but fast Mercs just never do anything for me.
SIARPC - Doctor who? Honestly, other than laughing at how ridiculous he looked I was more interested in the striped jubblies behind him than anything he had to say. I'm sure I'd be more interested if I'd watched him on Dr. Who, but I'm in the US, so...
Saab film - Now this was great. I've always had a quirky interest in Saab and I'm sad to see them go. I almost bought one two years ago (used ones are ridiculously cheap here), but their reputation for everything breaking on them kept me away.
Overall 7/10. Other than the Saab part and some rally car porn, it was a forgettable episode. Not bad, just not one I'll bother re-watching.
*edit* And no mention of Hammond's self-pleasuring leg of the race or why they didn't do it? Boooo, I was disappointed. Seems as if someone at the BBC said "you can't do that" and they backed down
