Grand Prix World Championship. The name is still in the air ever since the old GPMA was dissolved, and I'm sure someone within the teams still owns the trademark for it.
One can then make jokes about a 'floater' championship etc. ...
If you have to ask what a floater is you are either a non-native English speaker with no imagination, or you have led a too sheltered a life. Anyhow do not ask.
The acronym "FOTA" will cease to have any meaning at the end of this season, so nothing with that in it.
As I said in the other thread, F-Zero. It's futuristic and cool sounding, it sounds even more like the pinnacle than F-1 and all they have to worry about is Nintendo suing...
