what the fuck is this. i tihnk its a wireless USB adaptor and its sucks so he has a coke can to reflect or absorb more wireless signals. the silver peice is a coke can... really! and the cpu is a toshiba P2 i think hes a poser lol or stuck in a technology time frame lol, his phone had a extetion areial lol

Well, I can't see the image because the link is screwed, but from what you describe it sounds like a homebrew directional antenna for a wireless adaptor.

It's not that the USB adaptor is crappy - the Coke can acts basically as a funnel to shoot the wireless signal in a straighter line. You get much better range, and it is much easier for doing things like war-driving or war-walking (basically walking around looking for wireless networks to hack in to).

I know quite a few people who live in apartment buildings who have free internet connections this way: they make a homebrew directional funnel for their wireless card and just angle it around at the apartment buildings beside them until they find one with an un-encrypted or easily cracked wireless network.
