hey guys kazaa ltie is totally fucked up now, i try'd to download "just lose it - eminem" and i downloaded literialy 20 files and they all didint work.
i understand that people are payed to load up fake files on to kazaa to fuck it up...so what do i use now!??!?!?

btw is kazaa lite resurection better or worse?

Ultra_Kool_Dude i use klite already and it has it on, but still i get fake songs. i guess i need a new p2p program.

anyone know any trusty ones?

I've been using Soulseek for almost two jears now and downloaded almost 11 gigs worth of Music from there. Trust me there is nothing better for mp3s.
Fake files are nonexistent there. If you're looking for Apps/Games/Movies etc. you should use bittorrent. Try http://www.suprnova.org

Limewire is good for that, I heard Blubster was good, but have yet to try it out...

DC++ is king. I have a music collection well over 100gigs (no, thats not a typo, that is well over one-hundred gigs 8)) and any of the MP3s I haven't ripped myself have come from DC++. I have been using DC++ exclusively for about 2-3 years now, and I have never got a fake file. Thats a lot of music to download without getting a fake file - I suggest you check it out. :p

http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/

Gonna check out DC++...and thanks for the Bluster tip MercedesAMG.

eMule is decent.

couldn't fathom DC++ whatsoever - Gonna try LimeWire next, as Ares seems to not like my computer anymore + there's a limit to how much you can share on it (Only 10,000 files! I wanna share more!!!)

limewire aint bad

LimeWire is pretty sweet - tis a little odd that you can see what everyone is searching for, but still an awesome program :) (though Ares is better if and when it works) :)

That's what I love about DC++ - people get frustrated easily with the interface and quit. If they can't figure out how to use the program then they probably have a crappy share (because they most likely came from Kazaa).

It's also one of the only programs where you cannot leech, you need to have certain qualifications in order to enter hubs.

Hahaha, how true, how true. :D DC++ is definetly the best P2P program, partially because the interface keeps the n00bs out. Most of the hubs I go to are filled with music addicts like me with 50+ gigs of shared music - you can find so much stuff you'd never find on any other P2P network.

All my friends have started using DC++, but mostly because I've taught them how to use it. It seems whenever I recommend it to people on forums, they download it, can't figure it out and stop using it right away. Believe, me it's worth figuring out! :D

Do you get access to those hubs when you have nothing to share yet, or will they deny you access. I'm asking this because i had the clver idea of archiving my 11 gig mp3 collection on my IBM Deskstar aka. "Deathstar" harddrive. You can imagine what happened. :(
Now i'm trying to rebuilt my collection and people tend to cut you off when you have nothing to share.
