A 2001 Ford Fiesta Ghia 1.8TDdI :)

Pretty good little car with enough power for me ( 75hp ).

Not as pretty as other cars here but I like it ^^

yeah, I know all about the infinity of engine options for the S-chassis, but it was no coincidence my suspension is built but my engine is the near stock 2.4

1. Emissions and legality. This is California and this is my daily driver.

2. Driveability. I'm fairly certain I can fix most suspension stuff, but wiring up and fixing an engine are skills I don't have yet.

3. Skill. I am not a drifter, i don't have any intention of drifting, and I want to learn to be a good "grip" (Track, road race, however you want to call it) driver, which means starting with less power and learning to take the line, transfer weight, contrl the car

4. Priorities. Drag racing and freeway battling mean little to me. Taking a 155hp car that's fun to drive and adding the skill to stomp on a higher HP car appeals to me. Plus, it's always smarter to build the chassis first and add the pwoer later...i see too many people throwing turbo ch argers and engine mods only to drive around on some crap $50 all season tires...then end up broken because their car was uselessly unprepared for power.

The SR20VE-T as far as I know only came on the FWD or AWD Nissan SUV (X-Trail?) in Japan. I haven't heard of anyone putting it in a RWD S-chassis yet, although with money i'm sure it could be done.

In the future, i'll probably just rebuild and turbo the KA. Can't beat cast-iron + good tuning.

I'm located in Davis, CA and commute to work everyday to Sacramento, so you'll see me on the 80 quite a bit.

small world, lol. I'm in Davis, Ca too. Are you a student?

I graduated this past June, I work in Sac at the state capitol now. I still live in Davis; I was too lazy to find a place closer to work.

what do you drive? i'll salute the next time i see ya

Here's my car
It's a 1993 Civic EX. Between my brother and I, it has ciol over suspension, RS*R exhaust, Rota Cricuit 8 wheels, Del Sol seats, B&M short throw shifter, new Pioneer head unit, and a "custom" homemade cold air intake.
I know its not the fastest thing around (not even close). But it works for the poor college student I am. With only 129,000 miles, it is just getting broke in. Hopefully at the end of summer I will have enough saved up to buy something newer and faster.

This was taken when my brother owned it, at an autocross event.

Haz, I cannot really tell from the picture: is that boat trailer attached to your Boble? If yes,

 Seeing as it's the back of the trailer, I'd guess not :p

No, it's not my boat. C'mon dude, an aircooled 1600cc engine pulling a damn boat, do you really see it?!

I've got serious plans for ma Boble these days, getting the jubilee rims dand blasetd and powder coated, I have lowered the front quite a bit but not enough, getting both new rear sides over the wheels and them painted, and installing a stereo..

Pic of the rims, after they were sand blasted:

and I'm glad we are experiencing some damn spring around here, and not any of this anymore:

anyone heard from Jos lately?

D'oh - took the stretch of road as a connection to your boble - should remember to wear my glasses on a more regular basis...

The rims look nice, what kind of stereo are you going to install (classic boble fm transmitter or something aftermarket?)

A new - non - Boble stereo. Hiding the cd shifter i the glove comp, 2 speakers hidden in the hat-shelf in the back, and the samller ones hidden in the doors.

Just thought I'd post this in this thread.

What a nice surprise :) The minute my brother saw it, he told them that he would be "unable to take delivery" of his IS200 tonight as he will be "at work" haha. So we got it for an extra day!

I'm not sure what model this is...Sport, Luxury or Sport/Lux.

First impressions about the design is that it is very busy, especially the hood and rear windows. The alloys on this car look pretty cheap on this model but thats probably because its a base model.

The interior is very nice! Leather is high quality, although the entire dash is grainy plastic which you wouldn't get on a German. Our car was equipped with keyless go which is really cool indeed!! Also had flappy paddle gearbox which wasn't all that good. When you enter redline, the dash goes red which is cool. Air con worked very well on this hot Autumns day. The seats were ventilated and heated and worked very well. Finally, the engine I hear was brilliant and the car had alot of grip.

If you spec this car up well with metallic black and nice alloys...its a sweet looking ride indeed. In this Pearl White with cheap alloys...it looks very Toyota-ish but all in all, its a great car and I am going to drive it tonight yey!

I have "fake" wood interior. This isn't a good shot but shows how cheap I was in getting XM Satellite radio installed into the IS.

Cheers,

I assume thats the satellite radio aerial on the bootlid. Its alot better than the sat-radio aerials you find on Mercs which are at least the size of a computer mouse stuck on the boot lid which can be quite ugly.

Oui. The E90's is my friend's. Girl and I ended up with IS 250's. Mine was a black AWD and her's was the normal IS 250 RWD, but in SGM (silver-grey metallic). As much as I would of loved a 330i/E90, I fell in love with the interior of the IS and love the curves/lines of the 2nd Generation IS (2IS) much better than the E90's.

That is the aerial on the bootlid. 2007 is suppose to bring the new "Shark-Fin" aerial on top of the LS and IS for OEM satellite radio installs.

Cheers,
Kermee

Option zero, my dad works at 16th and J. Youprobably have seen his evo around (Mica colored Evo 8 MR)or even his ferrari (550 Maranello with lots of miles). We weren't the first owners of it, though.
