I like the new 7 series, my favorite of the current BMWs! Dunno why, it just fits!

Greatgraddage:

I think the new BMW's arent as well built as the older ones
Its been well documented that the M5 and M6 are notoriously unreliable and Ive also been told that the diffs have a tendancey to explode when driven hard

Ive driven my 7'er pretty hard and my dads old E34 even harder still and never had so much of a hiccup

The design of the new 7 series isnt the best imho and the new 5 series takes best design award

I think that's the corvette you're talking about not the Ms

Its definitely the M5 & M6

Ive heard of loads of diffs disintergrating under pressure...shocking considering BMW used to make pretty much bulletproof motors back in the day

My car...

Mine is an Alfa Romeo GT 2.0 JTS (165bhp direct injection petrol engine) with the Selespeed flappy-paddle gearbox.

Here it is:

It will be replaced in October by an Alfa Romeo 159 2.2 JTS, which I will order in two or three weeks 8)

^You wonderful man. What a gorgeous car

Nice car :) I love the tan leather, though I don't think there supportive enough. But get the 159...I love that cars looks!

Too bad they dropped the Alfa V6 though, and replaced it with a GM one.

Thanks! By the way, the Alfa GT still has the classic "Busso" Alfa V6, so get it while you can!

Of course I'll get the 159... too bad I won't be able to watch May's test drive on TopGear before ordering it. But still, Clarkson's review on the Sunday Times was quite good.

I drive an Alfa 145 1.6 with the boxer engine. It's not the fastest car in the world nor the most reliable but like Clarkson said in thoose brief moments that everything works well and you find yourself in a narrow twisty road (which is 99% of the roads round where i live ) it's just amazing :D

Nice to see other Alfa fans here! Great cars!

Ummmmm .... nice?

To be serious, I like the current A3. It looks a bit agressive at the front (which I like), but still classy, and the back is not as JLO-ish as it was on the old model. And I've heard the 2.0T is a really nice engine, unfortunately I haven't driven one yet. The DSG is just great though, my dad has a Seat that also is equipped with it. Oh, and do you have shift paddles behind the steering wheel?

Good car, I just recommend some other rims. How 'bout this?

Indeed the rims are quite conservative, but on the other hand they fit perfectly with the "sleeper" looks on your car :). Classy and stylish but still a lot of power under the hood, nice.

Yep.. that's exactly what we wanted to achieve.. although the 2.0T has been put on the back 2 weeks ago on demand of my girlfriend.
In the future there might come 18 instead of the 17 and also a Heinz-preparation (see pic). But it will never become an overdone car, because I just don't like the "showing off".

@Karmann, welcome to the site. Love your car (seen it before on audiforum.nl though). And I would wait to get it chiptuned until it's broken in.

No pics after the rebuild.. but it looks like a black golf 3 with O.Z rims.. 8)
