You Americans and your closets... those always bewilder me.

I'd never thought about it, I guess they aren't all that common in Europe. They aren't just limited to North America though, I've seen them all over the place.

I suppose walk-in closets are a bit of a waste, but normal ones are actually brilliant I think because it's space that would otherwise be wall interiors.
 
A black permanent marker (medium sized tip) to cover up the scratched up lightswitch.
