What's your mobile phone history?

Posting phones must be easiest for me.

Nokia N70 ME

Gosh you people had lots of phones. I got N70 for my birthday and now its more than year and still fine :)

My phone history is short too. I had a Nokia 3510i, and now I have a Samsung U600 (you already know I'm a Samsung fanboy)

The paint it starting to chip off the top metal part though. :(

Back in 2000 or 2001 I bought a SIEMENS C35i
It literally fell apart from use.

Then I got some small Motorola. I think I got it only because it was dirt cheap and had Tetris.
I lost that phone, it's probably still in my appartment somewhere.

Then I bought another SIEMENS, I think C45.

In 2005. I decided I need a nice MP3 player, so I got the Sony Ericsson w810i. This phone is the greatest little thing. I love it, and still use it. It's one of those gadgets that make you feel all warm and fuzzy.

Then I bought an iPhone a couple of months ago, but I still think the SEw810i is the better phone.

First phone I bought was a Ericsson GF768, bought it the day I passed my driving test.

Then I got a Nokia 3210

After that a Nokia 3310 (and yes, mine was that colour too :D)

Moved up a bit and got the Sony Ericsson P900, still have it actually

Then 2 years ago I got a Sony Ericsson k800i (have got 2 new ones under warranty earlier this year)

It was a 100% analog phone too!

I was 16 and it was my dad's old cell phone that he gave to me so when I drove around I had a way to call if something went wrong or I needed something. It may have been earlier [though I am not sure how much earlier.. I know it was between 1997 and 2002 though [new house and year I got my license lol].

I'm not partially brand loyal to Nokia, they just had the right phones at the time when I was looking for a new phone. I would have got a Blackberry instead of the E61i, but the E61i was cheaper and did all the functions of the blackberry I needed.

My first phone was a Startac, but it was a slightly later digital version with a normal LCD screen. I gave it to my dad and he used it until 2004 when he sat on it. You stuck the entire card (like a credit card) that the sim came on into the phone rather than just the sim itself.

I can't say I've ever seen one before. People sitting on phones always makes me laugh though. :D

All looks, no substance. Really, it was stylish but had no use, except for making calls and sending text messages. The color screen was impossible to use in direct sunlight and even with a color screen it was not possible to receive MMS. 6 months later I sold it to my ex's mother and went to buy a...

Second best cellphone ever, I still have it working out everyday, even thought the battery's almost dead. MP3 player, radio, java games, the only things lacking is bluetooth or irda and a camera.

Motorola K1:

Bought it for 6 euros, it's cool and the camera's awesome.

My history isn't very long nor impressive:

siemens-m55.jpg

siemens M55, lasted 3.5 years without a glitch. My brother uses it now, battery even still lasts 3-4 days.

Now:

Nokia 6300. I love it. It's stylish, slim and the build quality is exceptional (stainless steel covers). The screen is wonderful (240 x 320) and I can simply connect it to my computer with a standard USB cable. And I don't have to dig into five menus to make a phone call.

SE T68i - ATT
SE T610 - TMobile
Blackberry 7100 - TMobile
Treo 700W - Verizon
Blackberry 8100 - TMobile
iPhone 3G - ATT

Yeah, in that order... the carriers must hate me by now as I'm constantly switching. I might go to either Sprint (if they ever roll out WiMAX) or Verizon next year as I hear their rolling out faster internet access than ATT has since now a days I use far more data than voice.
