whens 5th gear back?.

Expect it early October :) About a fortnight before TG and don't forget that Fifth Gear will be released via the normal site like we used to with TG before those BBC legal bastards.......... :x :twisted: :censored:
 
Yeah, but remember how the Beeb decided to shut us down? They waited just before the first ep, they knew what they were doing when they timed that too <_<

Hopefully fivetv won't do the same thing :|
 
Episodes will now be one hour long (with commercials though). More Vicki! :woot:

Now that finalgear has a 45min video to host, can someone project a filesize estimate just outa curiocity??
 
It will be 350MB, this will comply with Scene rules on filesize, the 350MB eps of Top Gear don't because, we really don't see a point in doubling the size if you don't get double the quality. :)

October sounded like a long time away. I looked at the calendar and it's only 2 months to go! Time flies when I'm working 7 days a week plus overtime to earn money for my ultimate car project . . .

The unwritten (well, actually, written, but unofficial) standard for TV rips.

175MB for a 21? (30 min - commercials) show
350MB for a 42 (60 min - commercials) show

Top Gear is 60 minutes, so by scene rules, that's 700MB (hence why almost all rips out there are 700MB), however, we don't, er didn't, see the need to double the size.
