While we're on the subject of What's That Song, what's the best way to download music? I've been using the Kazaa Lite I downloaded years ago, and it's awfully slow. Not to mention I hear it isn't the safest...

Any suggestions? Thanks.

There arent many "quality" options if you are looking for a free download unless you find someone who has the song and is willing to upload it a server and you can download it from there.

Other than that, you can pay to download songs at iTunes Music Store which is really good... pretty big library of songs in comparison to others out there.

DC++ and eDonkey are the current 'hot' p2p applications. If you find a DC++ hub with good music selection, you're set. (interestingly, I've found some hubs with great music in the Czech Republic...)

^ Your answer is right there. My excessively large music collection has been filled exclusively through DC++ (and when I say excessive, I mean excessive :p).

SOULSEEK SOULSEEK SOULSEEK

Yeh i used to use Kazaa before but there are too many viruses and fake files.
Torrents were the best, but most sites are now closed.

I'm now using Ares, after using Soulseek for a longtime

ares is the best one to use yea? coz i just reformated my pc and was wondering if it was best to stick with limewire pro or start using ares

At home I use winmx which works fine for me. Doesn't work in uni though sadly.

Ares is a LOT better than Limewire. Limewire is an Accent to Ares' Golf GTI.

but i have the pro version and it get me everything i want. songs take less than 2 mins and it has videos i want.

like how does it make it better than limewire overheat? coz if it is i will get it now
