I think the only good IQ test would be from some psychology department on a university. The test should be calibrated to your country, because of course the scores are altered so the average is 100. Because the result of the tests defines the score. Do you know what I mean ?
Don't trust internet IQ-tests. And don't trust mensa
Iq tests are bogus...
it doesn't test how much you know honestly, it tests how fast you can figure something out...
it's not a smarts thing, it's a speed to get the right answer thing...totally bullshit....
example...asking what the capital of the USA was, if it took you 5 seconds to answer it correctly it would give you a higher score than someone who took 7 seconds, even though you both got it right, doesn't mean you're smarter...
IQ is a figure that measures your intelligence, much like money is a measure of success.
100 can been seen as a percentage. An IQ of 100 is like having 100% of the brain capacity of a normal person your age. If you are 20 and have an IQ of 100, then you are as smart as a normal 20 year old. If you are 20 and have an IQ of 120, then you are 20% smarter than a normal 20 year old or just ast smart as a 24 year old. I believe this is the "official" definition of IQ. I remember this from my psychology class.
I think an IQ of above 160 is considered official genius status. 160 is also the minimum IQ required to speak 7 languages fluently.
I did lots of all kinds of iq tests in internet, and I pretty much remember all the typical questions. Many of them are like geometrical puzzles, where all you need is figure out the pattern, and all the questions of that type are pretty similar. So you can be trained to do such IQ test. I usually score around 140-160 now. So I don't think internet-tests have much credibility...
Well that was a literal answer to my question, though I wasn't really looking for one. My point was that IQ tests only show that you are good at IQ tests. There is no way to translate that into anything else.
