I havent updated the 5th Gear list because I was able to get long descriptions of the eps and the short ones were easier for me to update but these longer ones are more in depth and more detail.

It doesnt matter to me, its up to you guys, which do you prefer, the long descriptive ones or the short basic ones?

This poll will end next in one week and Ill have all 10 eps completed one way or another.

Which is better for you guys to get info on each ep?

The long descriptive one,

Vicki dices with danger this week as she is taught some tricks of the trade by a Hollywood stunt crew. She'll learn how to be knocked over by a car and how to jump from one moving vehicle to the another. Elsewhere, Tiff and Jason turn their attention to the new Porsche Boxster which Tiff describes as "nearly perfect". The thorn in its side is the super fast BMW Z4, so the boys duke it out on the track to find out what's best. We'll be offering a brand new Porsche Boxster as a competition prize. Meanwhile, Jon casts his authoritative eye over the confusing range of speed camera detectors on the market. If you drive a regular route you'll be familiar with the locations of the fixed speed cameras, but a mobile speed camera trap could crop up around any corner. Jon demonstrates the best ways to find out where the mobile speed cameras are, including a new method that is absolutely free.

The short basic one,

In this first edition of the new series, Vicki learns some Hollywood stunt tricks; Tiff and Jason test-drive the new Porsche Boxster, this week's competition prize, as it goes head-to-head against the BMW Z4; and Jon checks out speed camera detectors.

Short Basic, just make sure that all the cars in the show are listed...show they will come up in searches ;)

I don't care too much, but I prefer the basic one.
FYI, for readability, I find that it is easier on the eyes if you put each sentence on a new line.
Separating each segment by a bullet point or something along those lines is nice too:

Code:
* Vicki dices with danger this week as she is taught some tricks of the trade by a Hollywood stunt crew.
She'll learn how to be knocked over by a car and how to jump from one moving vehicle to the another.
* Elsewhere, Tiff and Jason turn their attention to the new Porsche Boxster which Tiff describes as "nearly perfect".
The thorn in its side is the super fast BMW Z4, so the boys duke it out on the track to find out what's best.

That is a good idea! Just so you guys know, I am taking suggestions on my ep lists too. That one was a good one.

It will take a while to implement it in both lists but it will be done. As soon as this poll ends ill make the changes.

This is how it would look like,

The long descriptive one,

*Vicki dices with danger this week as she is taught some tricks of the trade by a Hollywood stunt crew. She'll learn how to be knocked over by a car and how to jump from one moving vehicle to the another.

*Elsewhere, Tiff and Jason turn their attention to the new Porsche Boxster which Tiff describes as "nearly perfect". The thorn in its side is the super fast BMW Z4, so the boys duke it out on the track to find out what's best.

The short basic one,

*In this first edition of the new series, Vicki learns some Hollywood stunt tricks

*Tiff and Jason test-drive the new Porsche Boxster, this week's competition prize, as it goes head-to-head against the BMW Z4

*Jon checks out speed camera detectors.

Short or long both will have ** to separate segments, reviews etc.

are u writing these or copying them?

if u write em, follow a format like

Cars:
list all cars involved
Features:
stunt shit

I copy them. Usually as I see it or with minor changes here and there. Should there be a diff format such as urs described? Seperating all things in the ep etc.

I long the long one: the more the better

I like the short one, with ESPN's suggestion of seperate lines/bulleted

If you do this code:

Code:
[list][*]Sentence one.
[*]Sentence two.[/list]

it will look like this:

  • Sentence one.
  • Sentence two.

Hell, for the ones listed on the site, might as well just link to those, then you don't have to worry about it and it makes it easier for people to download them. :)

Wahay! I've been waiting for an update for a while now. I prefer sdhort too, as long as it has all the cars featured (as mentioned before) as these are the main bits people search for.

Thanks for this Justin, it's a great feature!

I'm with the majority on this one, the short one. It doesn't take so long to read to see if it's the episode I'm after or not, which is probably the main reason for this anyway.
Not that it matters too much, but we don't need to know which car is the competition car... Just so long as featuers and cars in ep. is there, it's perfect!
Cheers!
