i dunno, im using klite right now, but i tried morpheus and it sucked, so did winmx

I find that klite works est for me

but hey what do i know :D

I highly recommend DC++.

I've used just about every piece of P2P software ever created, and DC++ is by far the best. DC++ is an open source DC client... it runs extremely smooth and through the DC network you can find just about anything.

Check it out here: http://dcplusplus.sourceforge.net/

I usually try russian websites or ftp's because I hate these P2P programs

I use BT for large stuff, eMule for everything else.

i use a cocktail apporach to satisfy my need for multimedia files, which means I use all of the programs mentioned above  .

Newsgroup is my main source for files though because its fast.

what i use to get vids is something called the internet.

check out shareaza, it uses 4 p2p networks at once, gnutella 1, & 2, edonkey2000, and bit torrent, along side k-lite, and newgroups and ftp's i feel like i got all my file wanting covered... usually out of all those choices i can find what i want/need

^^ I just innstalled the application, seems ok, but I miss the autosearch I liked with Kazaa Lite... and why doesn't it recognize Kazaa/Kazaa Lite as "connecting partner"?
I'll use it more, and see how it goes. I'm disapointed it didn't find any TG episodes though ..

of course I found some TG files (quite a few actually!) after I figured out that searchenginethingy...

well i also higly recomend DC++ and to be more specific the milleniumzone hubs because the most people there have a fibre optic connection10 mb/s.....although when i don't find something at dc++i use kazaa..for more info about dc ask

What are the addresses of some of those Milleniumzone hubs? I don't think I've ever come across them before, but they must be pretty quick.

i can give them to you because it is a fact that they don't appear at public hubs....
some of them...
maximus.milleniumzone.net
colosseum.milleniumzone.net
predator.fastdevils.net
gladiator.milleniumzone.net
fot he gladiator you need a 15gb minimum sharesize..
have fun.

Cool, thanks!

I share over 120gigs, so the minimum share sizes shouldn't be a problem for me. 8) :p

The username I use on DC++ is [bs2k]Zenon.

My share size fluctuates between 40-120gigs since 80 of those gigs are on a portable hard drive that I sometimes forget to turn on.

I'll definetly check those hubs out. :D

Edit: By the way, I tried connecting to the hubs you listed and none of them seem to be working. Are they just down, or are those addresses incorrect?

well shareaza cannot connect to the kazaa ("fasttrack") network because fasttrack is closed source... you hafta pay to licence a app to connect to it... thats why morpheos now uses g2 network back in the day it also connect to fasttrack like kazaa...

also about share aza... gotta get some good server.met files and gw web cache's and read around the forums of that site... theres some tweaks... take a lil getting used to and sometimes take xtra long times on some files... but i love those rarest of files... like my 7 gig drug documenary video collection, all drugs and tim leary, and holland information...

maximus.milleniumzone.net
eletti.milleniumzone.net 3 giga
colosseum.milleniumzone.net 7 giga
gladiator.milleniumzone.net 15 giga
pantheon.milleniumzone.net 25 giga
olimpo.milleniumzone.net 50 giga
these are the adresses..i am not sure if this hubs are obly for fastweb users but i don't think so..also if you have a modified version of dc++you won't be able to enter.also i don't know your settings..
you must have at least 2 slots open if you have dsl or isdn per every hub and you can enter in more than 3 hubs at the same time...i will ask if you can enter even though you are not a fastweb user..
well i've just been told that you cannot enter unless you are a fastweb user...so i will give you some other hubs...sorry for that...
to-steki.no-ip.com
predator.fastdevils.net
angelos0dc.no-ip.info:1411
i hope you can enter these...sorry for that before....

Thanks Kte01. When I was trying to connect to those hubs it was just continually timing out and acting as if the hub wasn't even there.... it must have something to do with this Fastweb thing. What exactly is Fastweb?

I'll try connecting to those others though. Thanks. :)
