UK Nova has posted a torrent for a show hosted by Jeremy Clarkson called 'Who do you think you are?'. You have to register to get access to the torrent, but the site does seem to have some decent shows. It would be worth registering if you are insterested.

Here is a synopsis of the show from the BBC:
Bold, brash and bouncy he may be, but when Top Gear guru Jeremy Clarkson first clapped eyes on his family tree he was devastated to discover that most of his ancestors seemed to have lived their lives decidedly in the slow lane.

"Take the Clarkson name back to its Yorkshire roots and they all come from within a few miles of each other," he says despairingly.

"I'm the product of 200 years of interbreeding - I'm surprised I haven't got one eye!" He has - and it's on the main chance.

Clarkson also uncovers the fact that one of his forbears is not only called Kilner, but was a glass manufacturer - the inventor of the world-renowned and still used Kilner jar perhaps?

Leaving his wife Francie and their three children Emily, Finlo and Katya at home in the Cotswolds, Clarkson leaps into his trusty metal steed and sets off to uncover the lost family fortune.

His great, great-grandfather Caleb Kilner hit on the idea of the screw-topped, rubber-sealed jar as a way of preserving food and its trademark can be traced back to the 1890s.

"Selfishly, I'm quite keen to find out what happened to the money," says Clarkson impishly. "Is there somewhere a dusty piece of paper that says Jeremy Clarkson is owed ?48bn?"

But the glass manufacturing industry proved to be as fragile as its wares and Clarkson discovers little left standing of the might that was once the Kilner glass empire.

He does track down the current owner of the jar's patent though - and decides he may have to punch him!

Peace breaks out at their meeting however and the man with a mania for the mechanical feels a sense of pride in his roots.

"It's just thrilling to know that my ancestors were part of the most extraordinary superpower the world has ever seen," he says. "Part of that patchwork quilt of ingenuity."

It probably won't have anything to do with cars, but I think I'll download it and see what it's like. :) If you are already registerd there, here is a link to the torrent: http://www.uknova.com/download.php/3159/Who.Do.You.Think.You.Are.Jeremy.Clarkson.avi.torrent.

I'm getting an error when I try to download the file...

"Rejected by tracker - Not authorized (2h) - READ - Who.Do.You.Think.You.Are.Jeremy.Clarkson.avi[1].torrent"

It appears that there are no seeds and no peers.

Anyone has been able to download it?

I have finished downloading it and am currently watching it. As MXM pointed out (and I wrote in the first post), you need to register to be able to download. So far it's a bit boring, yet slightly interesting at the same time. I'll post a full opinion once I'm done watching it. :)

Yes I did that, went to the page and download the torrent from there, but I'm still getting the same error.

^ Did you recieve a confirmation e-mail from UKNova and click on the link in the e-mail to activate your account?

If you have, make sure you are logged in. I am currently seeding the file, so and there are many active seeds and peers. If you get your account set up correctly you shouldn't have any problems.

Here's a screenshot of what I'm doing...

You can see that I'm registred in the page, then I click in the "Download" button, then my Torrent client opens up, and I get that error.

Any clues on what am I doing wrong?

Yup, I did that.

^ Ok, I know what your problem is now. :p If you look at that screenshot, beside the title of the show it says "2 h" in red. That means you have to wait 2 hours before you can download the show.

A lot of torrent sites run on a ratio system now it seems. When a new file comes out, only those with a certain level of uploads can download it right away. People with less upload have to wait a certain ammount of time - ie. 2 hours for you with this file. It's a pretty stupid system in my opinion, but you'll have to wait the 2 hours before you can download the file.

Once you've done some uploading, you'll be able to download newer shows. I didn't even think about the file having a wait time - I guess I've uploaded enough to download files 3 hours old. So either do some uploading on another file to raise your rank or wait the 2 hours to download the file. :)

Thanks Zenon, I wasn't aware of that waiting time.

And I think I'll wait the two hours, my upload connection is only 128 kbps, so I guess it's better to wait.

Thanks again.

Well, overall the show was decent. It got sort of dry in places and I don't think I'd watch it again, but it was a good way to entertain myself for an hour. The only thing car related in the show was the shots of Clarkson cruising around in his LandRover.

I'd recommend it if you really like Clarkson and have an hour to fill between watching episodes of Top Gear. :p :)

Hm, guess I'll grab it. Does he go deeper into his inbred roots?
He just jokes around a bit about how his father's side of the family lived for ages in the same area and were probably inbred. I'd say 95% of the show is about his mother's side of the family, so there isn't much more than one or two comments about inbreeding. :p

Since I can't find anything interesting in the site you can use my
account user: Nikkel pass:ivelina
my pass is different for all the sites so don't try it here

you see clarkson's wife!
Ya, there are a bunch of shots early in the episode of Clarkson and his family. I don't know why everyone is so fascinated with his wife, but yes, there are shots of her in it.

I thought it was pretty interesting. Did anyone else notice that the guy that squandered the fortune (George) looked a lot like Jeremy?

I want to take a trip to Britain now to learn about the industrial age. I have roots in Britain...Who knows if somewhere down the line my ancestors invented Top Gear.
