I'd say Alonso. Kimi and McLaren have found their speed again, but I think that Renault won't be so bad for the rest of the season that Kimi could win... But, of course, anything can happen, there are still 13 races left.

I think it would be quite nice if Alonso would win, because then he would be the youngest World Champion ever. Next year he can't break that record anymore... He already is the youngest winner, pole-positioner and fastest lap maker.

I'm not very patriotic, sorry for that...

EDIT: :welcome: It's great to have more Finns here!

I personally think that its going to be a tight race between Kimi and Alonso by the looks of the last few grandprix's.

Saying that, I voted for Webber.. well im Australian and I have to support the Australians

I think Raikonnen really deserves to win. He's been way up there all season long with his blistering pace. If the car had held up in the first few races, he'd be leading in the points right now.

Unless Alonso can match Raikonnen through the rest of the season, Kimi is going to surpass him in the points lead! You have to remember that Alonso is still "new" to F1 too.

If Bridgestone can put their act together, the Ferraris can wreck havok later in the season. This is the longest F1 season in history so anything can go! If you see the Ferraris lap times, they are actually on pace with the race leader but only near the end of the race.

I'm with Raikkonen in this one. Now they have the right engine, the right aerodynamics, the right driver and the right tyres to go with them. If everything holds up, there will be nothing stopping him.

As a team i like Renault. As a driver i like Kimi. I think if technology dark age doesnt strike on mclaren, he could take it :)

I would like Kimi to win. However... Alonso is a good choice as well.

Anyone but Schumacher... He's won enough.

I would also like to see some good efforts from teams like Bar Honda and Toyota. That would show it's not (completely) about the money.

i'm rooting for mclaren-mercedes.. if they can take care of the reliability issues.. they will dominate.. just like they have the last 2 races.. so go kimi and montoya!

What is this? No one has voted for Jarno Trulli. I think it's more likely that the winner is him than Webber (and OMG he has two wotes).

But again, anything can happen. But NOW it seems more likely that Jarno is better than Webber. :)

Even though Alonso has a big points lead i still think kimi will win the whole thing, Mclaren have the two things that make your car the best. SPEED & RELIABILITY. Renault have the realiability (somewhat anyway) but they arnt the quickest anymore.

Ferrari's need their tires sorted, when/if that happens they could shake up the race for the title quite a bit. Its just going to come down to how many times kimi can beat alonso in the positions.

If you look at the monaco GP the renault's tires were absolutley GONE 20 laps before the end.... In August for the turkish GP the tires will probably blow in that heat. Its going to be exciting whatever happens.

That's a good point.

though they managed fine at the first few races (which were hot), and I believe (could be wrong though) the renaults were using hard tires at Monaco. You gotta remember that all the teams have a completely seperate aerodynamic and suspension setup for monaco because the course is so much more tight, twisty and bumpy than any other circuit, I wouldn't have thought that the tire wear is necessarily that bad.

Well today James Allen on ITV said the reason the tires were so worn was because the renault fuel tank was so full up to the max, which obviously makes the car alot heaver and there's more pressure on the tires.. Remember everyone thought the renault would have to stop again but it didn't, alonso hung on in there.

Maybe they should have done a 2 stopper, but they wouldn't have been able to get past raikkonen anyway so that would have probably been pointless aswell, Pole is everything in monaco!
