Why don't they review motorcycles?

I wonder why they don't do very thorough reviews of motorcycles. Since there is absolutely no chance that they will ever review on Top Gear, why can't the motorcyclist on FG give some reviews?

Tiff has actually review a harley i think in the past sometime. but none of them are bike experts or even ride bikes very often. you would need someone else to actually review it.

Motorcycles can only be reviewed by professional racers.
The personality of a bike can only be extracted at the limits. Most amatures can't even get close to that to do any kind of review on bikes. In other words, all bikes are the same to the typical Joe.

Ok, it?s a CAR show, but Five TV could produce a show about motorcyles in the same style and they could have the guy that does the riding in the shootouts (can?t remember his name) testing the bikes. Or am I talking nonsense end such program already exists?

I see your point, but I think someone with experience in riding bikes could give good reviews, not necesserely professional racers.

Sorry, I knew I'd be dissapointing some people when I said that. I just don't like motorbikes. They sound annoying, the people look silly in their attire and they are nothing like cars.

I do like how they make you feel and they'r cheap, but thats it ;)

That SL65 guy is jelous cause he cant ride one.
Or then he thinks he is Jezza cause he said exactly what Jezza said and he got no opinion of his own.

Or then he is just to scared to ride a bike.

Bikes are great and they make for great action in the hands of a pro.

I can recall a FG ep where Tiff and VIcki both took bikes out on a track. I'm fine with FG's bike-vs-car runs, but I'd hate to see bikes on TG.
Agreed! I don?t wanna see bikes in TG! But the channels COULD make similar show focused on bikes

Peope don't like bikes for two reasons:
- image - they don't want to be seen doing something they think is uncool
- fear - the bikes are too dangerous

I beg to differ on those points, but that's an argument not worth getting into. I love bikes, but I'd never get one, because I'd be doing 200kph everyday on the highway

I love the sound of a CBR1100RR winding out...or any superbike, really. But TG is not the place for bikes, and I hope they never change the format to include bikes. If you want to see bikes, I'm sure there's another show somewhere...

I'd say that falls into fear - not that you're afraid of the bike, but you're afraid what you'd do with it. ;)

Man I don't wanna ride one simply cos of the reasons I provided. TBH, this is one of "Jezza's views" that you could actually respect and actually makes sense. I agree with him on this one.

i'd be affraid for that

like a friend who had a CBR900RR, you touch the throttle for the slightest movement, and you go 200kmh in a 50-zone

he sold it for it (well, can't sell it, is for sale for over a year) and bought himself a quad. can play all you want, with almost no risk of fines

Sorry for being picky, but if we were talking about cars, someone would point it: There?s no such thing as a CBR1100RR, the closest one is a CBR1000RR.

Again, I beg to differ. I'm not scared of 200kph, but I would undoubtedly rack up some severe tickets, and quite possibly kill myself. What kind of idiot would put his family and fiance through that kind of grief just for some raw adrenaline?

It's more the fact that I know I would want to push the limits too much, and I don't want to hurt other people with the effects of it.

That's what I meant, I just worded it awkwardly. :)

The saying about sportbikes is that you'll run out of road, license, or life before you run out of power.
