Just curious to know if anyone knows why Top Gear hasn't ever reviewed the Enzo (or even driven it on the show for that matter)?

Maybe I missed something? I'm very curious to know if it's faster than the Carrera GT.

Pretty sure this hase been covered, but oh well.

It's because Ferrari will only allow testing at their track (guess they don't have enough to be loaning them out) which is where Fifth Gear tested it. I assume Top Gear doesn't want to do that as they want to test it on their track.

They'd have to get it from a private owner.

But if fifth gear could do it, why couldn't they?

I'm sure top gear's budget is much much much more than fifth gear's.
Or maybe it has nothing to do with cash. Then again, Jeremy's a popular guy. Who wouldn't want Jeremy to drive their car?

I know I wouldn't.

As I said, I doubt Top Gear wants to do it on Ferrari's track - they want to be able to set a lap time on their track.

Plus if the Stig tested it on Ferrari's track, you'd have people comparing his lap time against the one Tiff did :) .

Oh... thats true... That would be cool! See which one is better... :D

Stig would win very bad.. Tiff would take more time to adapt to the car and use it at it's full potential and he wasted at least one lap driving like a grandma and talking about the car...

Or if Tiff is the Stig, they'd get the same time................

:p

Stig would win because he would have more practice (having driven 3 laps as Tiff before)

Ya, I know we have another Tiff\Stig thread... I was the one who started the stupid rumour in the first place! :p

Very true! Maybe that's why the Stig seems like a better driver than Tiff. He gets all that extra practice.

Tiff got a 1:34 around Fiorano, the lap record for the Enzo at the time was 1:30 set by Dario Benuzzi (he has the best job in the world or a tie with MS). I doubt in 5 laps even the Stig could get fully adapted to the car. Also even when Tiff is talking in the first lap he is just mobbing around Fiorano.

wait a sec, on dec 28th ep, when they were doing the fun car of the year, they said we had lots of super cars like, blah blah blah enzo, blah blah .. so they had the enzo!!

Don't remember if they said that or not, but regardless, as Ren said, they haven't tested it.

I think they might have been talking about which cars were new that year, not which ones they tested.
