Will TG test the C6?

Im not even sure if the Corvette is sold in the UK but if it is do you think TG will test it next season?

Reason I ask is they have spent alot of time in Germany lately. First with the CTS but also with the new Vette. From what I hear from a local dealership owner the C6 has smoother power delivery and better gear change feel but they have increased ride comfort while still giving better suspension performance.

The 345hp C5 wasnt a slouch and it could take corners with the best of them so with more grunt from the 400hp 6.0L and if they improved ride and cornering Im curious if Jeremy would like it. Im sure the interior would be a sore spot but for $45k its... as Jeremy says "great value for money".

Doubt it. They sell the Viper over there (in Germany at least) and they haven't tested that.

It's ass looks weird and the interior sucks but other than that it could be the best Vette ever..

I would love it if Top Gear did a shoot-out between the C6, Viper and a few comparable European\Japanese cars.

As others have said, I'm sure they would complain endlessly about the Corvette's cheap interior, but the performance in the C6 is absolutely amazing. Maybe even amazing enough to make Clarkson a little bit less stubborn. :p

well they should wait for the Z07... that would make Clarkson even more convinced :p

Completely agree with the interior... it actually looks cheaper then the C5's. I know its a $45-50000USD car but it wouldnt kill them to add some $10 brushed aluminum or even some "carbon fiber look" fake stuff.

I like the new looks alot except for the new headlamps.... WTF happened with the pop-ups cars used to have? IMO pop-up lights are cool and just make a car a bit more special. Not just the Vette but the NSX, 360, both Lambo's... nobody makes cool pop-ups anymore :( .

As for the rear... I like it. Its a bit more aggressive then the C5... not so round.

I think Richard would like it but he seems to be void of bias like Jeremy. I dont know though... the ride in a Ford GT isnt spectacular but it goes like stink no matter what the line from A to B is shaped like. You would think if Corvette could do the same he would like it.... I mean the C6 is a serious effort.

The cheap plastic bit where the corvette emblem is on the rear shoudln't be there.. it looks so... so... CHEAP!!!

A friend has a Z06 and you forget all about the interior once the thin pedal meets the carpet :D Amazing car.

He did dress up the interor though with a brushed dash kit like this one and it made a huge difference to the look of the car......

He didnt get it from RKSport though as they just a bit on the expensive side (a huge bit way over in the far corner of expensive).

euhm

everything is better than the fake carbon look!! even mashed patatoes, at least they're real

FAKE IS FOR LOSERS!! (and ricers)

Fake CF, if done right, cant be told from the real deal.

I dont think that any one would want to see TG test the C6 because he is garenteed to hate it, rightfully so.

its a good car, performance and price but compared to what the germans, brits and others offer it cant match those cars.

plus american cars dont take turns.

I know it would be treated the same as the CTS but I would love to see the American run around the track where I honestly think it would post numbers in the 1:26 - 1:28 mark.

He liked the new Ford GT. He even liked it enough to put his name down to get one.

He may be slowly warming up to American cars. :p

The C6 IS slated for European sales after relase.

The dimensions of the car have been made smaller than the C5 to fit the european markets more. Some of the design lines have come from forigen cars (some angles).

Ford GT is hardly a "typical" American car.
