Winamp: Make it read only ID3v2 tags

How can I do this?

I've even removed ID3v1 tags completely and it still is cutting off the names.

Any help would be appreciated.

Odd, mine uses the ID3v2 tags if they exist, if not, then ID3v1, and then finally the filename.

That's what I thought it would do but no it uses the ID3v1 first and then it is being an ass and has no clue to what it is doing...:lol:

update? mine works fine too.

maybe try using the musicbrainz tagger.

I'll try that. I've been going through all my music and using Tag Scanner to update the tags. So far it has been working but I have a 30 GB collection.
