Okay, i like to say im kind of well versed in the usage of computers and what not, but i've come across a problem and im completely stumped.
I accidentally burned out the PC i built when i brought it heree to college, the HDD was fine so i got a new computer and ran it as a slave cuz for whatever reson the PC wouldnt detect Windows(professional) on the old drive. So im running Home Edition and now when i try to move certain files over it says heres permissions problems. i have NO idea how to solve this because they said just to make a profile w/ the name name and password was on the old system and i did that but it didnt work, im guesing cuz of the differences in the OSs. does ANYBODY know how i can solve this i will become their best friend EVER
