i start on jan. 10
moving this coming sunday (3 days from now)
working for a "satalite" company...all i can really say, had to sign some papers saying i can't talk about what goes on behind the doors...
i'll be working in the marketing department as a graphic designer
pay is freaking awesome for my first job out of college and for someone that has art/technolgy degrees although my rent is $890/month for my 1 bedroom 1 bath apartment...(and believe it or not, it was one of the cheaper places i looked at, and it's 22 miles from work, the closer i get to work, the more the price goes up :shock:)

so yeah...if you don't see me for like a couple weeks, it's cause i'm still trying to get internet access at my place...

I'm thinking of getting a Mini Cooper S in 6 months or so...just need to settle in and take care of some bills first...
i really need to replace my Altima...it's got 212k miles on it...it's a good car, but with all the miles, anything can happen anytime...

born and raised in Brasil...lived in Rio...
moved to peurto rico for a couple months
then moved to NY for 8 years
then moved to Massachusetts for 6 years
now in california for the past 5 years...

that's my life story...

Good god, that's like $100 more than mortgage payments on my 1250 sq foot 3 bedroom house (with basement).
 
Well from what I understand, in some states, they don't have basements.
Just pointed out the basement to indicate that that almost doubles the living space.
 
Houston houses don't have basements cause yards can flood easily here. Rains alot.
 
Congrats, I hope you change your mind about the Mini. For that kind of price you can great something way better.

i know...when we lived in massachusetts we had a 5 bed room, 3.5 bath, 1/2 acre back yard, 2 floors + finished basement, real 2 car garage for $850/month morgage...

bay area prices are insanely high...when we first moved to california, hour house cost $500k, and it was a small 1 floor house with 3 rooms and 2 baths...
studio apartments where i was looking were $600 :shock:
 
Someone is making alot of dough just renting the place. I need to get some apartment complex's in bay area too. :)
