WHY in the name of JC has nobody made a huge post about how exited they
are to find out that the next Formula-1 race is going to be held at the
N?rnburgring / Nordschleife?!?! I didn't know until today and now I'm so
exited I can't sleep!

Omg, with some equality in the races finally and Schumacher turninger the
heat up this is likely to be the thriller of the year!

Of course. But on the new GP circuit, not on the old "Nordschleife".

Sorry to bring you the bad news but they aren't going to race on the historic Nordschleife.
They'll race on the track wich you can see at the uppr right.

This weekend. But again, they're racing on the GP circuit, not on the Nordschleife.
So don't get too excited! :p

It would be mental, no more like suicidal to cace F1 cars on a small racetrack with no safety zones whatsoever.
You have to keep in mind that the track is in generally bad shape. The height difference alone
would guarantee some nice F1 flight action. At such speeds I belive F1 cars would just take off at some places.

Damnit, you almost gave me a friggin heart attack, I thought that would be awesome if Ecclestone (sorry if i misspelt that) got the stones to make them race on the nordschliefe! asses :x anyway that would be more than tivo worthy, i would wake up early for that, is anyone watching F1 right now? if not, maclaren is dominating and schumey cant seem to break fifth place, sad.

Suicidal is good sometimes. Let those who dare win for once, todays F1 is
dominated by restrictions killing all the fun of it. Like seriously, they don't HAVE
to go so fast that their cars will take off and fly? And they could adjust the
downforce to something extreme to prevent it. Any way you look at it, it's
definately possible. A bit dangerous, but that's motorsports for ya...

Give us Nordschleife!

although the Nordschleife is pretty dangerous, sometime you should track down this documentary called "Champions Forever, The Quick and the Dead". It was filmed in the mid 70's and its about F1 racing back in the day, when they were losing around 5 drivers a month, no joke. but then again, the new cars are really quite safe.
 
Sorry... I got equally bummed out myself when I found out I was wrong.

Lack of testosterone has to be the problem! Let's get some hazard back into
the world. Back in the days men didn't have to seek danger to get it. Now we
live in such safe enviroments that young boys start street-racing and risking
their lives there instead. Let's get some insanity in controlled forms,
F-1 on NORDSCHLEIFE for starters!
