Well, I've got my 10-22mm now taking me up to:

Canon EOS-400D
Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM w/ EW-83A Hood
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 w/ EW-60C Hood (looking to replace with 17-40mm f/4 L)
Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM w/ ES-71II Hood
Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 w/ ET-60 Hood (looking to replace with 70-200mm f/4 L)
Hoya CPL, ND8 and UV filter in 58mm, no filters to fit the 77mm 10-22 as yet.

Got myself a used SB-26 from ebay and one of those cheap chinese wireless triggers :) Can't wait to try all the cool stuff I've read at strobist.com (thanks FG for pointing me out there). As expected TTL doesn't work, but for off-camera shooting it's useless anyway.

I have to say I haven't expected it to be so huge. I've never had/used a flash before, so the size surprised me a bit :)

Here it is on the receiver-hotshoe with a small tripod. Old IXUS as a size comparison.

No sense in listing all the gear in my bag. There's a LOT of it.

Long list short, my main rig right now is a Nikon D300. I also own and (sometimes) use a Leica M3 SS, a Mamiya C330 (that I don't use much at all), a Nikon F-100 and a Casio Exilm something or other. I have too much glass to list. Suffice it to say that it's mostly Nikkor, some primes, some zooms.

Getting a D300, sort of for free. Gonna post pics here soon :)

Get me one as well :p Or on second thought, I'd settle for a good scanner (and a bunch of B&W film). I was going to buy a CanoScan 8400F from a friend of mine, but since he couldn't find the film slide holder for it, it's pretty much useless to me. Now I'm dreaming of an Epson V500, ~250e... <_<

SileNceR - have a think about getting the 24-105 rather than the 17-40 - it may cover your day to day needs better. If I see another cheap 70-200f4 around I'll drop you a line (don't ask about the one I picked up if you don't want to be green with envy).

I think that a small ammount of vignetting does help focus the picture, just like shallow DOF, but like that, it doesn't fit every picture either, but i agree on excessive.

yep, call me the vignetting king! To me, i like it on the landscapes... I guess it hides my poor photography :)

Hah! Wouldn't call it poor photography! Also, to each, his or her own style is what they want.
