Oh I hate you so much right now...uuuuh no, I am not jealous...not at all...

*sold*
1996 Dodge Ram 1500 "sport"
1997 Ford Explorer
2004 Subaru Impreza STi

*current*
2006 Dodge Ram 2005 diesel 4x4
1996 MB E420

I will own another STi, I loved that car but the chances to drive it as it should were few and far between. Sold it when I found out I was going to be a daddy. I gave the old Ram to my dad and he still drives it every day. The Explorer was a temporary second car and a complete turd. Never again. My diesel Ram is incredible and what it does not do well my MB E420 makes up for it. I am hooked on MBs now and will replace the E420 with one the blown E55s next year.

For me:

3. 1994 Ford Mustang Cobra
4. 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra
7. 2006 Pontiac GTO

I'm not sure if I should hate you or consider you my hero. I'd kill be be driving an 05/06 GTO right now. Problem is the insurance would kill me simply because of my age (fuck you State Farm). That is one upside to my Buick, the rates are much much lower.

1995 Ford Taurus SHO MTX

DSCF2074.jpg

This was a hand me down from my Dad. It needed a lot of work and sat for about 5 months rotting away. I really wanted an e30 BMW, but my Dad suggested dumping some money into this. So I did and drove it for about 6 months. Ended up selling it because it needed too much work and I couldn't afford it when only making $6.75 and hour. I really do miss this car. It was a lot of fun to drive and a definite sleeper. I'm on to better things now though.

NEXT!

DSCF2603.jpg

Within a week of selling the SHO I bought a '78 BMW 320i. I know, I'm crazy. It only cost me $900. I loved this car. So much fun, and it's what got me hooked on e21's. Even though I had originally wanted an e30 three series.

I had this car for about another 6 or 7 months when this happened...
IMG_0912.jpg

Rear ended on the highway when my car was being put on a flat bed because my alternator went on me. Craziest night of my life. I'm just happy to be alive.

NEXT!

DSCF2838.jpg

Fast forward about a week and here is my new car. 1983 BMW 320is. I've had it for about 3 months now. Bought it for 4k with the insurance money I got from my totaled car. I still have the other car, and I'm in the process of parting it out for even more money. Some of the parts will be transfered on to the new car, like the seats. (They're in much nicer condition.) I also plan on taking the 2.0 block from the '78 and drop it into the '83 and then turbo it.

All my cars in one picture:

All petrol, two-door and rear-wheel driven!

VW K?fer 1202 LS (my first car ever)
Ford Taunus (the first with CPM sign :) )
Opel Ascona (the first green one)
BMW 316 e30 (the first and only car without color)
BMW 318ti e36 (the first fron the black cycle)
BMW 323ti e36 (the first sixpack)
BMW 325ti e46 (the first xenon light)
BMW 330 ci e46 (the first flappy paddle gearbox (sequential manual gearbox))

cu, CPM

None of these are actual pics of my actual cars, but they approximate what I did have.

1. 1986 Chevrolet Chevette
800px-Chevy_Chevette_Pre-1987.jpg

(It was rear-wheel drive and it never broke down in 13 years. Then, in the 14th year, everything went at once (tranny, radiator, body rusted through, fan belt, leaky brakes, parking brake cable, etc.)

2. 1991 Ford Aerostar Van
5290111p.jpg

A great van for its time.

3. 1995 Dodge Neon
neon_p.jpg

Hands down the worst car I've owned.

4. 2004 Mazda 3 Sedan
05.mazda.3.500.jpg

Terrific car, sold it because I wanted more options.

Current
5. 2005 Honda Accord EX-L 4-cyl
2005_Honda_AccordSedan_ext_1.jpg

A good compromise of sportiness, handling and classiness. It's a bit roomier than the Mazda3, and it's got more comfortable seats.

I'm also babysitting the following car for a friend who's not in the country, a 2002 Mustang V6 that he is emotionally attached to and does not want to sell even though he is not in the country (I'm sure you guys understand). If he doesn't come back, I'm going to start looking at mods. First thing I want to do is a rear seat deletion, and maybe add some racing seats.

Honorable Mention
I learned to drive in an old Nissan Sentra, a lot like this one:
400px-Sentra2.jpg

I learned to drive stick in an old Toyota Rav4. Admittedly not the sportiest of vehicles, but that clutch was built out of something out of this world. It never quit on me!

My own car history is rather limited to 1 car.

My dad's car history goes like this:

1960s Mercury Cougar - apparently a very cheap car in those times
1960s-1970s Plymouth Fury II - This was the american car my dad liked big, powerful and somewhat reliable.
1979 Pontiac Phoniex - this car according to him was rubbish despite being babied. He lost faith in American cars after this one.
1986 Toyota Cressida - I drive this car today and like it, thats all I need to say
1996 Toyota Avalon - My dad said the brakes on this Avalon were not too good, he didn't really like this one
2000 Toyota Avalon - This one is a major improvement over the previous but this particular car seemed to be bad luck especially its last year of ownership. It was a magnet for fender benders in its last year.
2004 Toyota Avalon - What my dad drives today. Apparently according to him more improved over the 2000 one.

As for me I only drive the 1986 Cressida. I have driven the 2004 Avalon but its definately not a car for me. To me its too big and the steering was way too vague so it wasn't all that fun to drive especially compared to the Cressida despite more power. I learned on a 2000 something Mazda Protege and the 2006 Honda Civic. I thought the Protege was good and easy to drive and liked it. The Civic...perhaps I'm spoiled but I didn't like a lot of things about driving it particularly the sensitive pedals which annoyed me.
