Simply put, they fiddled around with the Turbos and the FIA-issued mandatory restrictors. They were caught around the closing stages of 1995 season and as a result were excluded from that year's championship and banned from WRC until the end of 1996 season.

I'll pick the Celica pictured above. In Castrol livery that car looked fabulous. But there are lots of notable group A cars that are not mentioned. To name a few, BMW M3, Mitsubishi Starion, Toyota Supra, Nissan 200SX, Mercedes-Benz 190E and Audi Coupe Quattro.

And the GT4 road versions is one of my favourite 4WD car.
