Worst wreck I ever had wasn't much compared to some of these. To sum things up very simply, I ran an '85 Camaro at 65mph into the back of a 2000 Cavalier going 10mph: totalling both cars. My Camaro was still driveable, but the subframe was twisted beyond repair. The Cavalier was destroyed. The bitch pulled out right in front of me on a state highway. My shoulder belt failed, letting me slam into the steering wheel (1985 model, so no ABS or air bags). I broke two ribs, bruised my left collar bone and gave myself a hell of a headache.
I was so pissed off I couldn't get out of the car for sometime. I was 19, it was pretty much my dream car. When I got out (in December, in the US midwest, 30F tops outside) I was shaking. Not from the cold, but from adrenaline, pain, and suppressing the urge to kill the woman and the cops who thought I was lying through my teeth. Worst day ever. December 23rd, 2005. Merry fucking Christmas. Yeah, I'm bitter ...

I dropped my '74 Yamaha while turning onto a brick road, going about 25-30mph. I smashed my left ankle really good when the bike dropped onto it (wearing good work boots, but not riding boots). The only thing I remember is seeing sparks flying from the flywheel cover in slow motion. Almost worth it.One hell of a spark show.
