Yes he was that guy, and he pulled those stunts in Super GT as well. He was not qualified for F1, there were much more qualified drivers available. Ide only got the chance because he had alot of money behind him. Satoshi Motoyama, several times Formula Nippon and Super GT champion, hands down should have gotten the seat.

I think Anthony Davidson should've gotten his F1 seat in 2006.

True, but at that point they wanted a Japanese driver. So if they were to pick one it should have been Motoyama. If it would be any driver, I would have like to see Montagney keep the seat.
