Just finished watching episode 11 and just which 1 would u go 4?

Oh, good thing this came up, because I wanted to ask this since ages but always forgot: in GT4, the stock Zonda handles like crap. Utter, utter crap. The brakes don't work, and there's heaps of understeer. So... is this anything like the real one?

I would think so... Apparently Jezza thinks GT4 is a good game... True to the real things... And he HAS driven most of the 700... There is a post of that somewhere...

Yes, I know that, the realistical aspect of the GT series is what made it my weapon of choice. But still, the Zonda can't be that bad a car in real life...

Pagani, lambos are too flash

I see the same point of view as my own has been made several times. It has to be the Zonda for the exclusivity.

zonda obviously
it is soooooooooo much cooler and much much prettier

by the way it was on the 14/11/2004 on top gear

Both have the WOW factor... Dunno... And Lambo has a nice perspective with the Murcielago SV (640hp) coming up...
Zonda F in black is really good looking as well...

Personally I would have the Koenigsegg... ;-) Undecided here...

This is a hypothesis right? So then money is no issue... Of course it's the Zonda! It is RARE and handbuilt... And it's really Italian, not... German... I think Lambo's are German now yeh?

This is an interesting post and an interesting topic to look at. Yes, Lamborghini is now owned by Audi which is owned by Volkswagen, but with the Murcie, the Italians still did the styling and the engine and the handling but the Germans did the ergonomics and the things that the Germans do well. According to JC, the Murcielago is the ultimate Lamborghini. Now yes the Murcielago has had German influence. The Zonda, was built by Pagani, now Horacio Pagani is Argeninian and was introduced to Italy by his childhood hero Juan Manuel Fangio. He worked for Lamborghini initially and set up Modena Design and Pagani in the early ninties. The Zonda's engine is built specifically for Pagani by none other than the Germans: Mercedes AMG, which is interesting, because the Germans have a significant hand in both.

The Zonda, it could be said, is more of a 'bitsa' than the Lambo. While the Lambo was designed built and filled by Italians with Italian stuff, with the help of the Germans and named after a Spanish bull. The Zonda was inspired by an Argentinian, designed by an Argentinian, named after an Argentinian word (meaning light breeze, it was originally to be called the Fangio, after Horacio Pagani's childhood hero and the man who helped him get his start with Lamborghini in Modena but was renamed to Zonda after Fangio's death as a mark of respect), built by Italians, stuffed with Italian stuff except for a dirty great German engine.

So there it is, please don't choose the Zonda because it's more Italian, both cars are just as Italian as the other.

My pick? The Zonda hands down. The Lambo is brash and dramatic but the Zonda is beautiful. Take a look at the profile, the massive but shapely rear quarter, those little details, the way those four (!) exhaust pipes dominate the rear of the car. Zonda without a doubt.

It's a video game that's meant to be a driving simulator. What is meant by "driving simulator" is that when you turn the wheel left, the car goes left and when you turn the wheel right, the car goes right. Brakes and throttle more or less follow the same logic.

No matter how hyped up a game is, don't judge the cars just because of an unrealistic game. Formula 1 Challenge (99-02) is infinitely more realistic and I can beat loads of people in a race but that doesn't mean Michael Schumacher has to worry about me overtaking his WDC record.

As for the topic, I would go for the Zonda. Even though the styling is a bit fussy, to me it looks better than any Lamborghini.

Lambo.

Its just a mean car. :D
