Haven't played TF2 in a long while.. think my 3PG reserved account expired as well.
 
So the patch is here.

Played it a bit today, it is SO ANNOYING that the whole servers are full of medics....so I read in the forums how to manually unlock the Achievements for the guns in your console, I only unlocked the 3 milestone Achievements to get the guns, I am happy now and can continue playing whatever class I want ;)

Goldrush seems to be really hard for the attackers (as long as your whole team consists of medics of course), but a nice concept.

Oh well, I hope many people cheat their achievements so we can go back to normal soon...
 
It takes about 5 seconds to get all the Medic Unlocks if you know what your doing, which is nice because i just want to see the new unlocks and then carry on not playing Medic.. Ever..

Goldrush is awesome when you're attacking... if I'm a heavy, I just plop myself in front of the bomb cart and let it push me and heal me while I'm firing. Even better, you rarely have to let up fire if you're near the cart since it restocks ammo as well.

I have played gold rush non stop since they released it on the free weekend. Man I love it... both attacking and defending. You guys need to add me as a friend. AxlxA
 
I just played through a round with all the upgrades, so far I like what I see. I can't wait till something new comes for the heavy. I also unlocked all the new achievments thanks to a handy dandy little program.

I only play on these two servers:

  • 70.87.162.59:27015
  • 70.87.162.53:27015 (mainly this server)

Ton of mods like all crits, medic healing auras, instant sentry build, etc. Hard to go back to plain TF2 after playing there.
