Random Thoughts....

I find it hilarious I keep hearing that about convertibles. What do they do, only equip the cloth roof cars with the good ones? I can't even have the dial turned to hot and the vents on without it getting toasty in mine.

Coke + a dash of salt = sore throat reliever. Thought i'll add in this to one of the posts here, and it tastes pretty good too.

My old Escort was like being coughed on by an asthmatic mouse. Though the fact that the fan randomly stopped working didn't help in that case.

Maybe all modern cars have good heaters, and the convertibles only get special notice because they need it more.

If moms outbacks heat is anywhere as bad as it's A/C I would say no. My A/C in my glass and fabric car is at least 2x as good as hers.

The GTI has a fantastic heater... well, it's not really the heater I guess but the engine. It stays warm for a good hour or two after shutting it off, and even from a cold start the car is fully warmed up in 30 seconds or less if you're moving.

I haven't figured out how this is possible yet... I mean I'm not in a terribly cold climate, but still, you basically get in, set off and you can pop on the heat right away.

My engine does take a while to warm up (sub-30 temperatures don't help) but somehow it stays warm for hours and hours on end. I didn't notice my old car doing that, even a few minutes later it would have cooled off.

Hmm, so Hungry Jack's (Burger King downunder) large coke (with a Whopper and large fries) is too large for me. I feel like I'm gonna go :puke:
Or, at least, I won't need to eat/drink for at least 12 hours!
I can't stand anything from Hungry Jacks, it's just like McDonalds but with twice the grease and cholesterol.

I just put a new fan into the Kadett. It sucks.

:drums:

Really, it in fact does suck air from the cabin, through the heater, into the engine bay, i.e. it is running the wrong way. I have no idea what's going on there.

No toy cars yet...unless you count this rabbit in a carrot car

Stop tempting me to go there. I haven't been there in an eternity. And why are Ikeas a rare type of species?

So that you have a chance of not spending ALL your money

The only thing in my room that is Ikea is a file case thing. Don't know the proper name, but that. I need more Ikea in my life.

I've got a desk, a bedside table, two standing bookcases and one that is up on the wall. Basically all my furniture apart from my bed.

And I haven't bought from ikea in 20 years....
