Fifth Gear to be replaced?

Can anyone make some sense out of this? Why would Five need another car show?

It's a game show / reality show type of thing, not a review based magazine show.

Fifth Gear is broadcast in a really tough slot but gets a solid audience, with sponsorship and decent advertising, so there must be money in it for them.

It must be, as the show only seems to be off air for a matter of weeks. It's definitely taking full advantage of the Top Gear audience...

Seriously, I think this is another type of show, more like "how much can you really sell your car for". More of a consumer type program and not lets drive an insane car nobody will ever buy,or do a shootout or whatever
