2011 Indycar thread

Since I noticed we didn't have one...

The Indy 500 was a great race. Have to feel for Hildebrand, he won't live that last corner down for a long time

I'm expecting a similar thing to 2010 as far as the championship goes; Power to rule the road courses, Dario and Scott catching up with the ovals.

I expect Power to be stronger than he was last year on ovals. He showed clear improvement towards the end of the year and if he manages to keep that sort of form this year Dario and Dixon will need to work really hard to keep up...

Also, it looks like some of the other teams are a bit closer to Penske and Ganassi this year, which might not affect the championship overall but could provide some upset results (like Conway winning in Long Beach, which was awesome).

Looking forward to the Texas Twin 275s in two weeks time, sadly it's a night race which I can't watch live but I find the concept really interesting and it's great to see people try out something new.
